About ASP

American Specialty Products, LLC ("ASP"), located in Vernon, Connecticut, was founded in 1994 to provide solutions to the Photonics, High Purity Gas and Fluid Handling, Systems, Semiconductor and other high technology and industrial Markets. ASP utilizes a combination of its internal capabilities, customer interaction, market research and technical advisors to give it a definite advantage over its competition. ASP has been on a path of planned growth and has developed an excellent reputation for providing outstanding quality in both products and services to customers.

ASP's management team consists of two founding partners, with combined experience of more than 60 years of experience. The management team's combined backgrounds, along with our well-trained work force, and our wide range of experience and the proven ability to work as a team to meet our client's goals, has given us success in attracting and retaining ASP's solid customer base which includes Coherent Lasers, Coherent Deos, Convergent Prima, OFS Fitel, Jacobs Vehicle Systems, JDS Uniphase, and LxSix Photonics, Inc. of Canada.

ASP's current operations are based in a 4000 square foot facility. Approximately 2000 square feet is dedicated to fabrication services; 1500 square feet is utilized as our flexible manufacturing area, providing the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to changing customer product requirements; another 2000 square feet is available and utilized for large scale or long term projects. The remainder of the facility supports the engineering and administrative aspects of the business.

Mr. Robinson is directly responsible for management of quality, system fabrication, clean room activities, welding, assembly and off site installation services. Mr. Robinson's areas of expertise include engineering, clean room systems and operations, high purity manufacturing procedures, orbital welding, brazing, leak testing, specification of chemicals and procedures, improving products and systems,

Responsibilities include all activities related to the Photonics industry, electrical assembly and brazing departments. Mr. Morton's skills include layout, fabrication, test and installation of high and low pressure handling systems; electrical and pneumatic instrumentation of both large and small test apparatus, production equipment and fluid handling systems; helium leak testing and pressure testing; and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic systems.

The Company also has outside management advisors, Mr. Paul Ramunni, CPA and Dr. Wilson Chiu, assistant professor for The University of Connecticut Mechanical Engineering Department, specializing in heat transfer and Thermal Manufacturing research.
